How It Works
The ReVOICE Society offers three flexible volunteer pathways focused on teaching, educational resources, and advocacy.
Once accepted, you’ll receive an email invitation to our Discord Volunteer Hub, where you can access instructions and complete opportunities from anywhere, on your own schedule, as often as you’d like.

Project 1
Online English Teaching
Bringing free, high-quality English instruction directly to learners of all ages and proficiency levels.
What Volunteers Do :
Teach live English classes to learners across six levels: Advanced Adults, Intermediate Adults, Beginner Adults, Children ages 4–7, Kids ages 9–12, and Pre-Teens ages 13–17. You choose the group that best fits your interests and teaching style.
Teach for approximately one hour per session. Our regular classes run every Saturday from 8:00–9:00 PM Beijing Time. Volunteers in the U.S. or other time zones may submit their availability, and we will do our best to accommodate alternative teaching times.
Teach with materials provided by ReVOICE. Lesson plans, activities, and educational resources are available so you can focus on engaging with your students rather than building every class from scratch.
Earn approximately 2 volunteer hours for each one-hour class: one hour for teaching and one credited hour for lesson preparation.
Grow while you give back. Teaching strengthens your public speaking, communication, leadership, confidence, and English skills while allowing you to directly expand access to free English education.
Project 2
Digital Educational Resources
Building a free library of high-quality learning materials that strengthens every ReVOICE classroom.
What Volunteers Do :
Find high-quality educational resources online, including textbooks, workbooks, activities, worksheets, and other materials that ReVOICE teachers can use in their classrooms.
Curate resources for one of our six learning groups: Advanced Adults, Intermediate Adults, Beginner Adults, Children ages 4–7, Kids ages 9–12, or Pre-Teens ages 13–17.
Create original lessons if you want to take your contribution further. Design engaging lesson plans, activities, presentations, or learning materials specifically for the age and proficiency level you choose.
Contribute consistently: volunteers should submit at least five useful educational resources each week. Each approved resource earns approximately 1 volunteer hour, while each approved original lesson earns approximately 3 volunteer hours.
Help build ReVOICE’s growing digital library, giving teachers access to stronger materials and helping thousands of learners receive engaging, age-appropriate instruction.
Project 3
Education Advocacy & Marketing
Using creativity, storytelling, and digital media to expand access to free educational opportunities
What Volunteers Do :
Create digital content for ReVOICE’s social platforms, including Instagram posts, TikToks, Reels, graphics, educational campaigns, and informational content.
Share the ReVOICE mission by creating compelling stories about free education, educational inequality, youth leadership, our volunteers, and the learners our programs serve.
Help grow our community by creating outreach campaigns that introduce new students and prospective volunteers to opportunities within ReVOICE.
Contribute to a growing digital platform. ReVOICE currently reaches an audience that includes 30,000+ TikTok followers, giving volunteers the opportunity to create content with meaningful public reach.
Become an advocate for educational access. Develop real-world skills in storytelling, communications, social media strategy, design, advocacy, and nonprofit marketing while helping make free educational opportunities visible to more people.

Step 1: Choose Your Team

+ submit the volunteer application.
Choose what you love. Use your skills. Make an impact.
Step 2: Join Your Team + Get Started
Once accepted, you’ll receive a welcome message with your team, onboarding instructions, and access to your ReVOICE volunteer group or Discord channel.
Your team lead will share everything you need to begin, including assignments, resources, deadlines, and volunteer-hour instructions.
No experience? That’s okay. We’ll give you the resources and guidance to get started.
For Online English Teachers
ReVoice classes are taught live through Tencent Meeting every Saturday from 8:00–9:00 PM Beijing Time.
If you live outside China, you can use VooV Meeting, Tencent Meeting’s international version, to join and teach your class.
During your application, tell us where you live, your time zone, and when you are available. If the regular Saturday class time does not work for you, our team will try to accommodate an alternative teaching schedule when possible.
You’ll receive your class assignment, teaching materials, meeting information, and setup instructions before you begin.
One hour in the classroom can open a door for someone else.

Step 3: Complete Your Assignment & Log Hours
Complete your assignment, make an impact, and submit your work through the official ReVOICE Volunteer Hours Form for review and approval.
Volunteer hours can be earned through teaching, lesson preparation, educational-resource creation, research, writing, design, social media, and other approved ReVOICE projects.
For Online English Teaching, one hour of teaching may earn two volunteer hours when it includes the approved preparation hour.
