Becoming a ReVOICE Society volunteer means joining a youth-led community built on education, creativity, language, and voice. You will not only help learners build confidence in English, writing, and public speaking, but also grow as a leader, creator, teacher, and changemaker.
How to Get Involved
Step 1: Select Your Team
Choose one of our ReVOICE teams and submit the registration form.
Step 2: Get Your First Assignment
Once accepted into The ReVOICE Society family, you will receive an onboarding message with your team information, access code or invitation link, and directions for joining your team chat or Discord channel.
After joining, keep an eye out for activity instructions, updates, and first assignments from your team lead.
Step 3: Complete Your Assignment & Log Hours
Volunteer assignments are eligible for service hours and can be submitted for approval through our official volunteer hours form.
Service hours may include teaching, writing, researching, designing, creating learning materials, making cards, preparing lessons, or supporting ReVOICE programs.

Speak to Rise Instructor
Education through direct mentorship
Speak to Rise volunteers teach free English, literacy, and public speaking lessons to learners whose access to language education may be limited by income, geography, migration, disability, or educational inequality. Volunteers may lead one-on-one or small-group sessions in conversation, pronunciation, reading, writing, vocabulary, storytelling, and speech. This role is rooted in education, but its impact goes beyond academics: each lesson helps a learner feel more capable of asking questions, expressing ideas, and participating in the world with confidence.
This role is for volunteers who believe teaching is not just transferring knowledge, but helping someone become less afraid of their own voice.
ReVOICE Media Lab Volunteer
Sociology through digital advocacy
Media Lab volunteers use social media to turn education inequality into something visible, urgent, and understandable. Volunteers may create short videos, graphics, captions, learner stories, educational facts, pronunciation guides, public speaking tips, or awareness campaigns. This role connects sociology with communication: volunteers examine how social barriers shape who gets access to education, then translate those issues into media that can educate and mobilize others.
This role is for volunteers who want to use digital storytelling not just for attention, but for awareness, advocacy, and change.
Paideia Times Writer
Creative writing & Sociology through youth publishing
The Paideia Times is The ReVOICE Society’s youth-led publication exploring education, society, identity, language, inequality, childhood, culture, and voice. Writers may publish essays, articles, interviews, reflections, creative nonfiction, poems, or short stories that examine how young people experience the world. This is where ReVOICE becomes intellectually deep: writers do not simply describe problems; they analyze the social forces behind them and use language to make invisible experiences visible.
This role is for volunteers who care about education, sociology, comparative human development, journalism, literature, and the power of writing to reveal society.
ReVOICE Open Library Volunteer
Education through accessible resources
Open Library volunteers create free learning materials for students who may not have access to expensive tutoring, polished textbooks, or strong academic support. Volunteers may design worksheets, vocabulary packets, reading passages, grammar guides, speech templates, email-writing lessons, bilingual explainers, or public speaking exercises. This role connects education with equity by making high-quality learning resources available to anyone, anywhere, at no cost.
This role is for volunteers who can turn complicated skills into clear, useful, compassionate learning tools.
